Lotus to open new office in San Paulo, Brazil, to help expand the Japanese Content business to South America

Lotus, Inc., proudly announces the beginning of operations in South America through its newly established office in Sao Paulo.  The Sao Paulo office will serve as Lotus' central headquarters for business expansion into South America.
Lotus will provide Japanese content, formats, merchandise, TV and Movie projects to the South American entertainment market, as well as importing Brazilian and South American content and entertainment opportuities to Japan.
2008 is the 100th anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Brazil, and we, Lotus, strive to facilitate and strengthen the cultural exchange between Japan and Brazil, aiming to be a new bridge between the nations.  Lotus will also focus on collaborating with companies in Brazil and South America to begin joint production of original animation, children's TV shows, and content licensing
